All camps are taught by our expert staff of local, professional performing and teaching musicians. All camps are run from 9am-3pm. Lunch will be provided. Care after 3pm is $10/hr.
ROCK 101 POP CAMP
Rock101 Pop Camp is the ultimate summer camp for kids who are just beginning to play their rock instrument. Not only will they advance their skills on guitar, bass, drums, keyboards and vocals, but they’ll rock out with other kids. The rockers will learn how to play in a band, the ins and outs of performance, a set of popular pop hits, and they’ll play on stage at the School of Rock’s in-house “Venue.” The Rock101 Pop Camp Band will also create their own band logo and have their very own photoshoot!
Rock101 Camp is open to ages 8 - 15.

BUILD YOUR OWN GUITAR CAMP
Build a guitar from kit to finish, and play your very OWN guitar. Students will learn about guitar electronics, setup, effects and finishing, and bring home a beautiful, high-quality instrument that they can take extra pride in playing.

BLUES IMPROVISATION CAMP
This camp will go through the history and techniques of the Blues from Robert Johnson to Eric Clapton. Campers will spend a majority of their time learning songs and trading solos with their bandmates! Campers will mastering the traditional 12-Bar Blues progression which is the ultimate vehicle for learning to improvise.

SONGWRITING CAMP
Songwriting is one of the most important art-forms in all of world history, for a single song can inspire the whole world. Here you will hone your skills as a songwriter, engage in many fun creative activities, and share in a collaborative experience with other young musicians. By the end of the week, you will have written many songs, and learned different approaches to songwriting in traditional blues, folk, and rock forms while having the opportunity to explore your very own style. Geared towards intermediate to advanced students. Camp runs Monday through Friday, 9am to 3pm. Campers will give a performance at the end of the week on Friday evening.
