Meet other parents and enjoy being with your little one in a casual and joyful environment! Each group starts with free playtime in our large playroom filled with developmentally appropriate toys and play structures. We come together for singing, puppets, bubbles, parachute time, and parent discussion. The Friday group also celebrates Shabbat. No sign-up needed, and Sherith Israel warmly welcomes every kind of family.
All playgroups facilitate pre-school readiness and are led by Sherith Israel’s early childhood educator, Meredith Reich. Meredith has a BA in Religious Studies from the University of California, Santa Barbara, a certificate in Jewish education from Hebrew Union College, and a California Teaching Credential from Notre Dame de Namur University.
