MULLED CRANBERRY TEA
MULLED CRANBERRY TEA
Prep Time: 10 min
Cook Time: 2 to 3 hr (Low) 1 or 2 hr (High)
Makes: 8 servings
INGREDIENTS
2 tea bags
1 cup boiling water
1 bottle (48 ounces) cranberry juice
1/2 cup dried cranberries
1/3 cup sugar
1 large lemon, cut into 1/4 inch slices
4 cinnamon sticks
6 whole cloves
additional think lemon slices
additional cinnamon sticks
INSTRUCTIONS
place tea bags in slow cooker
pour boiling water over the tea bags; cover and let stand 5 minutes
remove and discard tea bags
stir in cranberry juice, cranberries, sugar, lemon slices, cinnamon sticks and cloves
cover and cook on Low for 2 to 3 hours of High for 1 to 2 hours or until done
remove and discard the lemon slices, cinnamon sticks and cloves
serve in warm mugs with additional fresh lemon slices and cinnamon sticks
