Although a bit of a drive, the Natural Bridge is an amazing, breathtaking hike for the whole family. The three of us (five month old Austin included) hiked up there last month, and it was well worth the effort. The path is all natural, no pavement, but you have the option of riding the skylift up (for a mere $6 for adults), and/or back down. We chose to ride the lift up, then hike down, which was so much fun. I would recommend going in spring or fall, but before it gets too cold, because it is a mountain, and in summer it's very hot and strenuous. There is a gift shop at the bottom with delicious fudge and treats, and also a family style restaurant. For those of you that would prefer a relaxing pace, there is a camping area and a resort cabin company who offer affordable rates for the night or weekend.
