What are RaisingThem Places?
RaisingThem Places is a directory of local places that matter to parenst. From music classes to summer camps, from kids-friendly restaurants to specialized doctors, finding what you need locally just became a bit easier.
I know a great place in my neighborhood. Can I add to it?
Yes, absolutely. You can add a new place, tell us as much as you like about it and even rate it. It will no doubt be very helpful to other nearby parents.
I run a kids-friendly-busines (class, camp, etc.). Can I post a listing for my business in here?
Yes, and by the way, posting a listing here is free. In the future, we plan on offering additional functionality to drive exposure and interst in yoru business.
Can I prevent others from review my place?
Unfortunately no, we want all members to be able to share unfiltered opinions about places in this directory. However, if you find that a review to your place is unfair, deceptive or spammy, send a note to Customer Service and we'll take a look.
I belong to a group, can I add a private place to my group?
No, not yet. Right now Places are all public, so please do not add something you want to keep private like your house for example.
Are there any restrictions to which places go in this directory?
Places must be relevant to parenting, so for example a grocery store would not be adequate unless it has an extensive amount of baby producst. Also, please make sure that any content is suitable for a general audience. Any offensive content will be removed with notice.
