Daily Deal Mom Scout Needed

DoodleDeals.com, the leading daily deal site for families, is looking for an energetic, motivated and creative “mom scouts” to uncover great merchants for our sales team to pursue. This role requires a special blend of experience with family and mom focused merchants, the ability to discern quality merchants from mediocre, and the ability to work 10 - 15 hours per week canvassing our target cities.

Responsibilities:
• Call on merchants throughout target cities and their suburbs to introduce DoodleDeals.com and evaluate the merchant’s suitability for a DoodleDeal
• Record uncovered leads into a spreadsheet on a daily basis
• Leave DoodleDeals marketing material at appropriate family businesses
• Search online for merchants within the target city
• Provide regular feedback to DoodleDeals headquarters on the target city’s merchants and market specifics

Qualifications
• Must own a car and be able to spend at least 10 to 15 hours per week on the road uncovering and visiting merchants
• Must be familiar with the family market for merchants serving families with kids 0 to 8 years old
• Familiar with the daily deal space and social networking
• Familiar with Microsoft office
