Experienced Care giver seeking FT, PT, or nanny share
Hello my name is Wendy and I am a professional caregiver. I am currently looking for FT, PT, and/or a nanny share position. I am a laid back individual and would like the same in you. I have over 10 years of experience working with children. First with family members (including a step son), and then for other people's. I am First Aid/CPR Certified and I am registered in the Oregon Criminal History. I am a very warm and compassionate individual that feels very comfortable and competent caring for children. I also have over 100 hours in early childhood education. I believe that my experiences along with my training have provided me with strong skills in child care thus making me a perfect candidate to be a nanny.
In the past I have worked as an assistant in a daycare, a nanny, a baby sitter, and a child care attendant. In these positions I had a great deal of responsibility in caring for children. These responsibilities included:
* Supervision of infants, toddlers, and school age
children
* Planning and implementing creative activities
* Setting up play dates
* Driving children to and from school and other
activities
* Providing a safe, healthy, and nurturing
environment
* Attending to physical and emotional needs of
children
* Helping children with daily routines such as
toileting, dressing, eating, bathing and sleeping
* Promoting developmentally appropriate activities
* Guiding behavior and social development in a
positive manner
