I am a mom in Central Illinois who has benefited from a Christian organization dedicated to encouraging and equipping MOMS, Hearts at Home. On a personal note, I stepped out of the “salaried” working environment a year ago August. But before I did, I went to my first Hearts-At-Home conference – kind of my boot camp – because I had never been a stay-at-home mom before and really had no idea what to do with myself. I hate to clean, had no idea how to plan a week’s worth of menus, and a budget was going to have to be established if we were going to make it on one salary. That conference, held in March at ISU in Bloomington, Illinois was the best thing I could have invested my money in. They provided me with resources that got me through and helped me become a great stay-at-home mom, and our family is doing well. I went to the conference again this last March, and then became an ambassador because I am so convinced that they are a great organization and resource for us moms.
