This playgroup open to anyone in the TriBury area who wants to join! After years of constantly trying to find a babysitter at the last minute, I decided to try to start a Parent Time-trading playgroup.
My goal is for it to have the all the benefits of your typical playgroup (fun things to do and interesting places to go for both parents and children) with the added benefit of something more....an opportunity to have some free time.
If you are interested in getting the kids together for some fun, hanging out with other FUN parents and getting a little free time out of it in the future join this group!.
If you are a mom/dad interested in doing future 'child swaps' this fall then this group is for you! Sometimes it only takes an hour or two to of alone time to make all the difference in our week!
Using rotating weekly 'supervisor' times - getting that time to recharge may actually be in our grasp. If you are anything like me - then you may only need a few hours a month (that is not enough to warrant daycare!)
If you would like to make a PTO meeting or volunteer at school for another child, take a trip to the store ALONE or meet a friend for lunch- this is the group for you.
I am new at this so please I am open for suggestions! I think it is a great idea and we can all tweek it to make work. I am thinking that in the beginning we can meet in public places like the park or library (for peace of mind until we feel comfortable) and take it from there!
