Hello Moms!!! My name is Miss Ashley and I run FREE playgroups at the Taylor Headstart, right down the street from the Southland Mall, located at EurekaDale Headstart. I'm currently running groups ALL WEEK long and they are 1 1/2 hrs long each day. We do all sorts of fun things from Arts and Crafts, to activities that help develop your childs fine and gross motor skills, group activities such as bingo or music and dancing, and we also always have a story time with singing and finger play as well as a snack at the end. These are FREE playgroups offered to you through The Guidance Center. Not a lot of people know that we are around so I am trying to get the word out for this. Additionally, the resource center is also a Lending Library. So like any other library you can rent out things such as movies and books, and we also have toys and literacy bags that you may rent out as well. I have different time slots for these groups so call if you'd like more information. Groups run Monday-Fridays. These groups are for ALL children and parents (caregivers, grandparents, aunt/uncle, neighbor..etc) regardless of where you live or income. These groups are a lot of fun AND they help develop your children's skills in effort to prepare them for preschool or kindergarden. Parents can have a cup of coffee and socialize and exchange parenting tips also!
