Looking for a group of moms, dads, grandparents, guardians, anyone with kids to meet once in awhile to let the kids play.
Maybe some adult conversation or even don't mind reading while we let the kids play. I just want my son to be able to play with kids relatively his own age and that share his interests.
About me and my son:
My son is 6 years old. We haven't lived in Muskegon too long and he doesn't have any friends, just a few at school.
I stay home, I used to babysit but haven't since we moved. My husband works during the week.
My son loves to play and has a great imagination, he is not really into computer games/video games. We have a WII and he never really plays it.
He likes Star Wars, legos, trains, webkinz, pillowpets, he makes up a lot of things like his own stories, games, pretends he "sells" his stuff like stuffed animals, bracelets, etc, , likes to play his own games rather than board games, etc.
He loves, loves, loves to play outside, loves the snow hills, loves the beach. Tends to be the only kid playing outside sometimes, because he loves it so much.
To be honest, I can only play "hide and seek" so many times, if you know what I mean. So, I was hoping I could find somebody out there who has kids that might be willing to meet to play.
No big deal, if you don't want to become "best mommy friends", or anything. Just want my son to be happy and well rounded and have FUN!
He can play "superheros" with the boys and "dolls, house, stuffed animals" with girls.
I've taught him that there is no such thing as "boy" or "girl" things.
Age of children doesn't really matter, although my son tends to be a little "NOT so rough" if you know what I mean. So, a 10 year old boy that's into roughhousing, may not be a perfect fit. But, then again, I don't know. Different people hit it off so maybe different kids will too.
Willing to meet in a public place such as McDonalds playland or the mall. I'm a very cautious person so do not want to give my address to anyone until I know them and will not meet at anyone's house until I know them.
If in the future we decide to meet at a house, that's fine, gosh knows my kid has too many toys to count.
Our neighbors thought we must have 3 or 4, but no, we just have one son.
If anyone wants to contact me and try to set something up, let me know.
Thanks,
Cara
