I live in Santa Maria, CA and am a SAHM to a almost 2 year old daughter. It's been very hard to find local playgroups to meet other people at. I go to River Oaks park every Tuesday and Thursday morning and do 2 laps around the lake and then let my little one play on the playground. I'm always looking for others to join. :)
