I'm starting this group to support parents with children with albinism or who are albino. My daughter has oculocutaneous albinism and I'd like to compare notes with other parents about our unigue challenges. Some of which are nystagmus, blindness, Hermansky-Pudlak Syndrome, hypopigmentation, ocular albinism, and protecting the little ones from the sun.
Please do a websearch for more information. By searching for albinism, you can find the National Organization of Albinism and Hypopigmentation, which has a lot of great info.
I'd love to also talk with people who are albino and invite them to join also.
