Hi, I am Jessica.  I started this group because I had recently moved to Morgan Hill and didn't know anyone.  I have been a part of various playgroups in San Jose, but the commute is a little far for as many playdates as we would like to attend. 

My husband and I have two small children.  Devani is four and Levi turned one in May.  My kids are very active and need to be able to run off some energy or at least focus some energy into a few projects.  My children are also very social, especially Devani.  She loves to make new friends and is always disappointed that she may or may not see her friends from the park another time.  I want her to have the chance to make some friends that she would be able to see regularly.

Of course, playdates are not just for the kids.  Any stay-at-home parent knows that the key to keeping your sanity is having some adult conversation every so often.  As much as we love our kids, we need a little something more than "Can I have...?" and "Mommy, mommy, mommy..." all day.  I too would really like to have some local friends to hang out with from time to time.
