Tips for a parent with an adhd child!!!

My four year old was diagnosed with ADHD about 6 months ago. Its pretty severe and impacts everyday tasks at home. The majority of the time i cant even take him to the store with me. So i either stay home or get someone to watch him for me. He just doesnt know how to behave when i take him anywhere. Along with the adhd he has anxiety. Im also having trouble with disciplining him. Nothing seems to work!!!! Im sure other moms with children with adhd have the same problems as i am. But is there anything i can do to help his behavior? Its pretty severe at times espeically when it comes to his little brother. For instance the other day his 2 year old brother was playing with one of his toys and he literally got so angry he picked him up and threw him. It was pretty scary on my part. The only thing i could do was yell (which i dont like doing) and take away his toys. Which ofcourse like every other time didnt last very long considering i give in to the awful temper tantrums just so it will stop. I know i shouldnt!! But im sure most of you understand where im coming from!! He can be the sweetest little boy if he wants too and i love him to death. Its just most of the time its him either putting up a fight, not listening or throwing an awful temper tantrum!! So pllleeasee!! Any ideas or anything that might help my situation!! Please feel free to give me any advice!! Thanks you so much!
