Daughter may have migrains?
Hey gals. I was just wondering if any one has had a child with migrains or have had migrains yourself? My daughter who is eight has been complaining about the same symptoms, usually in the evenings. She said her head feels like a tornado, her eyes hurt, and her tummy hurts. This is the second time in the past two months that she has felt like this. Other days, it's just an upset stomach. The reason I think it may be migraines is because I used to have them all the time as a kid until I was about twenty five and my neurologist put me on riboflavin. I haven't had any since but have read that this can be hereditary. I gave her Tylenol before bed and will be calling her doctor tomorrow. Until then, I was just curious if anyone would have some input or ideas what else it might be. Any info would be great!

I have migraines and currently take medication. Mine are so bad I have auras (vision changes before onset) I'm 24yrs old and didn't start getting them until after my son was born. The symptoms your daughter are complaining of seem pretty accurate. I personally get the aura then immediate migraine, light sensitive, and if the pain is bad enough I actually throw up. I'm on topomax and it works wonders! Before I was on meds I was getting a migraine around twice a week
