is this normal?

Hi, I'm a first time mom of a 2 year old sweet little boy. Before he turned 2, he ate most of what I put in front of him, except for raw fruits or veggies (cause of the texture?). ever since he turned 2, he has demanded a bottle (with only homo milk in it, not water or juice) and cheese and snack bars, cheesy crackers...stuff like that. he only takes a couple of bites of any meals adn then jumps off the chair and plays. He'll come back to the table and eat spoonfuls I give him, but then run off again. does anyone else run into this ....issue? he takes vitamins also. thanx

dont give in to him. my son is 2 also and he is a very picky eater. he only eats what i give him though. he mainly likes surgary snacks and if he had his way he would eat only that. this is what i do---- i put him in his high chair and give him his food. i eat a couple bites to show him that the food is good and i wont let him down until he at least eats 2 bites of everything on his plate. then i will reward him with a surgar-free popsicle or i will give him a sticker or let him go outside for awhile. it works for me. i hope you figure it out.
