Indigo Children

I joined this site because I am interested in researching the experiences of parents and their indigo children.  I want to become knowledgeable on the topic.  What are indigo children, what makes them so, how are they dealing with their societal environments and how do their environments either restrict or encourage them to be who they are?  I have come to see that this is a synical world that we live in and the mere topic of indigo children is either a cause for new intrigue or complete disbelief. What I want to achieve is a new awareness for those that are assleep and a deeper understanding of what it means to deal with special challenges of indigo children.  I want to be able to tell of the success stories of humans in the midst of the state of the world. I am a student of Radio, TV and Film at the Universith of North Texas and when I tell people my degree plan, they automatically expect me to want to do news reporting.  I am too positive and idealistic for the news.  If I am going to bring news to this world, it is going to be in a positive light and about what really matters to me.  At this time I am in the process of gathering data that would be used at a later time to make a documentary about Indigo children.  This project research comes from the wanting to break free from the monotone and depressive state that we are forced to see on television and the other media.  I want to really make a difference.  I want to learn more about myself and about the special people that God has sent us.  I am the type of person that wants to understand my surroundings and there is no better way to do it (for me) than through personal connections and first hand experiences.

My wish is that someone reads this post, becomes touched enough to want to share their thoughts and their experiences with me.

I hope to hear from all of you soon.

Hello I was just told about indigo children by my son yesterday, he is 17 and believes he is indigo, and after he read all the symptoms I believe it. I just want more information so that I know how to raise him in a good environment.
