Cholestasis of pregnancy...

I was just diagnosed today and wanted to know who else has gone through this. I feel scared and not taken care of by my providers, I'm 31 weeks and seriously looking to find another OBGYN since I haven't seen mine my entire pregnancy. Not to mention I delivered at 36 weeks with my first and I'm a high risk pregnancy. If anyone has been diagnosed with this as well or know someone who has, please tell me your story! Thanks :))))

I developed this at 34 weeks and was miserable!! There is a med that helps regulate your bile acid levels (and control the horrible itching). See if your OB will get it or you. Also, if your OB is that unconcerned, I would definitely consider changing!

I actually did switch doctors to someone who did put me on the medication and I'm doing a lot better! Did you deliver early? Thanks for responding! :)
