Baby Bjorn and cow's milk

Hopefully the weird title will entice some of you to read/respond!  I have two separate questions:  first, can an infant be sensitve to cow's milk without being sensitive to all dairy (cheese, yogurt, etc)?  My baby has gotten fussier past when fussiness is supposed to peak, so I'm trying to determine if there is another problem.  Plus, he has what might be an allery ring in the diaper area.  In any case, I think it may relate to when I drink milk--but if I have dairy but no milk, he seems less fussy than when I have milk.  But is it possible for him to only be allergic or sensitive to the milk?

Next question:  baby hates the Ergo carrier, which is the one I have.  I can't wear the pouch we got as it's too big (my husband uses it) and the smaller size was too small.  We tried the sling and he hated that too, plus I couldn't stand the loss of mobility in the one arm when the whole thing I'm aiming for is use of my arms while holding him.  So does anyone have/like the Baby Bjorn?  That seems to best mimic how he liked being held by me--he really doesn't seem to like being swaddled/confined--we swaddle him at night even though he hates it so that he'll sleep longer.

You can try to give him lactaid and regular dairy and see how he reacts to it. I guess it depends on his level of intolerance.

Regarding the second question, I used the babybjorn wuth mu kids and they love it but I know that now thy have baby carrier that seem more comfortable also for the person who carries the baby.

I have known children to be sensitive to milk but able to eat other dairy products, so yes I believe that is possible.

As for the carrier, I used the playtex hip carrier, but he can't use it until he is able to hold his head up. It was very comfortable and allowed me to use both arms while using it.

I can't answer your first question, sorry! As for the Baby Bjorn, our son enjoys it, but he HATED it at first! He never liked being held like that for the first two months of his life. We eased him into it, 5 minutes at a time, then increased the time until he was used to it. Now he loves it! It's pretty comfortable, unless you are doing a lot of bending. If you're not afraid of looking "hippy", you should try the Moby wrap. We have one of those as well and it's great! You can use it in a lot of different holds and it is VERY comfortable. The only problem is that it takes some practice getting it on (it's just a looooooong piece of fabric).

My son loved his Baby Bjorn so much I wore it with him in it for a few hours a day every day for a year. At 1 year old I had to hide it. He was getting too heavy for me to carry like that. He found it one day when he was 16 months and begged me to put it on and carry him it.

As for the milk allergy, our daughter was allergic to milk until almost 2 years old. After breast milk we had to use a special formula called Nutramagin. It is very expensive but that was all she could use.
She never seemed to have an issue with yogurt or cheese in moderation. I did use alternatives though like soy yogurt, goat milk yogurt, and soy cheese. When she was old enough she drank Silk soy milk and even now she still loves soy chocolate milk over regular chocolate milk. Now that she's older she drinks organic cow's milk daily with no issues.

I also had several relatives who's daughters were also allergic to cow's milk in infancy but now can have it without issues.
