I got a habit of thinking MOM KNOWS BEST. I think my way is the best and most efficient way and I tend to knock down her father's way or ideas. One event that came about was one in which confirmed this belief...

While my daughter was in the hospital her urine came back with traces of E. Coli

(shes on antibiotics now but she'll be fine)

Now since the day she was born I cleaned her a certain way down there. I would use my thumb and forefinger to spread her and then i used a damp warm cloth and wipe from top to bottom/ front to back..I'd clean in every crease to make sure she was clean. 

 ...Now her dad and gparents dont clean her that way...They just swipe her with a baby wipe. Well one day she came home from her gparents and i noticed she was not properly cleaned there were "leftovers" in her "pouch". I was upset and told his parents that they ddint clean her right and to follow my procedure. They claimed I was violating her (the nerve of some people) and tried to flip the script like they were oh-so-hurt by what I said. Anywho...

When the dr told me that E. Coli was in her urine I figured it was 1/2 their fault for not cleaning her properly. Because the dr did tell me its common amongst baby girls because there pee-and-poop parts are so close....

Now I enforce it more now than ever to clean her a cetain way...They dont like it But I say too bad cause Mom Knows Best.
