I feel like half a mom.... :(

Nobody can tell me I am not the most nuturing mom. I am on it when it comes to feed Tori giving her her medication on time, feedings, playtime, tummytime, tv time, bathtime...I keep tabs on her appointments when her next doctor visit I track her milestones up on Photoshoot dates and everything.

But its been so hard trying to find work in this economy and it hurts to not be able to provide for her like her father does. I mean its 50/50 ...he takes care of her financially and I take care of her in other aspects...But I still feel like 1/2 a mom....I have put in soooo many apps I lost count Frown

Once I find a job and can provide for my Tori. I can feel like the World's Greatest Mommy....

Oh, let me tell you, enjoy the time you are spending with your daughter. I am a working single mother and it is so hard. I do only work 8 days currently in a pay period instead of 10 and its a lot better. But take today for instance, when it was time for me to leave for work, I work 2nd Shift, my son was playing with his train and didn't want to leave and cryed. Made me feel so bad. Enjoy it all you can. But I do understand, for the two months I was off work, and still married then, I didn't like not having my own money. I would have liked to only worked part time tho, instead of having to work so many hours like I have to now.

Hi Misti,

First of all, congratulations on having such a beautiful little girl! She is truly a gift from God. I am the Middle TN Coordinator for Postpartum Support International (www.postpartum.net) and I want to let you know that there are resources available if you're struggling. I have a husband and I still get overwhelmed sometimes. Please feel free to email me if you would like to chat privately. ppdhelp@ymail.com
