Looking For Activities For Toddler

I am new to the Farmington Hills area and am looking for some classes or events to go to with my son. He is watched form home all week and I want to give him exposure to other kids as well as some learning activities. If someone is from the area and has some ideas I would appreciate the guidance.

Hi Heidi,
Here are some local resources to get you started. Check out these for cities like Farmington Hills, Novi, West Bloomfield, Northville, Livonia:

. Area libraries have mom/tot story and sing-a-long times with no registration required. Other activities are also available.

. Community Education: most cities have online catalogs and registration. You should find some mom/tot classes there.

. MetroParent magazine (monthly) lists local activities, lessons, and events. Pick it up for free at your local bookstore or other shops.

. GoCityKids (Detroit): great online resourced for activities and places to go. Plus you can search by date, catagory, etc.

. Parks and Recreation for each city usual has events and activities listed online.

Feel free to contact me if you're looking for something specific.

Enjoy!
