How do you explain the meaning of Christmas. I guess even you are not Christian you might be getting some questions from your kids. Are you expaling them about the birth of Jesus and the religious teachings? Is it more a general explanation about a time of reflexion towards our fellow human beings, about been good and think about the less fortunate? Is it simply about Santa Claus bringing the presents? Unfortunately, Christmas is such a commercial celebration that along the way something seem lost. Once I heard this family story that every Christmas the kids had to choose one present to give to a less fortunate kid. I thought that was a great tradition!
