Any tips out there for inducing labor...My dr. has recommended walking and sex, neither seem to work!! I am so ready to meet this baby, I have got to try something!
I read that raspberry leaf tea and peppermint tea are both supposed to encourage labor.
Are you very far beyond your due date? Is this your first?
We're due in a week (who knows what that REALLY means?), and my husband and I are getting a little impatient as well... it's like counting down the days to Christmas and then finding out that somebody's postponed it!

Apparently cleaning windows works. I guess going up and down on squat position might do the trick!
I was told to drink Castor oil. (dont know if thats spelled correctly) I have heard stories of people who do it and they tend to go into labor within 24 hrs.
massasingthe heal and akiles tendon. Go get a professional foot massage and they will know the triggers...thats what i did and it worked (my girlfriend did it to and it worked.) good luck. I am from GA too and i have no idea where you are.
My dr. said not to drink castor oil because it would just make me have to keep running to the bathroom. I didn't do anything and my water eventually broke...at 41 weeks! It did feel like waiting for Christmas and then having it delayed!
castor oil is dangerous for some women.. some women confuse the craps of oncoming diarrhea caused by the castor oil with labor pains...also the smell and taste make it difficult to drink.. i tried everything as well... even the ankle massage (by a liscensed massage therapist) on more than one occassion.. labor happens when it wants to happen. good luck!
