Excelerated learner

My son, almost 9 months old, is learning so quickly and I'm afraid he is board and not getting enough stimulation. My mother-in-law is wonderful for watching him everyday. Since I was recently laid off from my full time job I am able to spend more time with both of them and noticed this bordem. We are starting a playgroup tomorrow with hopes this will help. Anyone have other sugesstions?

My son just happened to see a little guy crawling and had it mastered in less than 3 days. Toys are getting expensive and we have even tried a rotation of those - but no change. He already has his form of "language" too. I appreciate anyone's thoughts/opinions. Thank you to all.

My six month old is also extremely advanced for his age and seems to be far ahead of all the other babies we know that are around his age, or even months older. Definitely get him around other kids, but I have found that just taking him out and about can help. I take Austin to the store, talk to him, and let him play at the mall. I don't like to sit still all day, and neither does he, and it helps for him to have that bustle of movement that you get out and about. Also, try the playland at your mall. We have met SO many people.

I wish there was a way to just zero in on the area one is from I have a little girl that just turned nine momths ..she is all but walking on her own she stands and walks around furniture but she has began to venture further on her own .. she says momma, dada, no ...she drinks through a straw ..she removes her shirt and her diaper if you don't catch her... she loves toast..she does a mean high five! and patty cakes...loves to be read to..its an every night ritual..like everyone else I feel she is very advanced...and I have had the baby doctor tell me so...I am looking for othere mom in my ares to get together so she can be further stimulated

At 6 mo. I went to Gymborie classes and read a million books to melissa. She's the same way! My hard time now is that she's 5 and shcools not long enough!!
