Swaddle for sleeping
My son is almost 4 months old, he has been sleeping through the night for about 2 1/2 months now.  We use a swaddle for him, he seems to really like it, and calms down when we swaddle him.  Any suggestions on how long we should swaddle him?  We are hoping he will sort of "let us know" when he is ready to sleep without it.

As they say, "If it's not broke, don't fix it!" As long as he does well with swaddling keep doing it. As you said he will let you know when he doesn't need it anymore. My son loves to be held close but hates to be swaddled and my kid sister asked to be tucked in tight (we called it the baby burrito) till she was 7! So it's all up to him. Good luck!

Thanks Tiffany! We call Jackson the burrito too! I kind of figured the same thing, but was a little unsure--I hate being unsure!!

He'll let you know, because he will no longer be swaddled. He will free those hands and feet all on his own. God Bless.
