HELP! I'm going crazy, he won't stop crying

Please help me...my son will be 8months on Aug 4th and I wouldn't trade him for the world. BUT lately he has gotten really bad with wanting me to hold him 247, I mean I can't even sit him in the floor with his toys to go to the bathroom. At first it was only if I walked out of the room, then it was if I sat him down and wasn't playing with him NOW I can't even sit him in the floor and sit next to him. If I am not holding him he screams and crys until he turns purple. I just don't know what to do anymore.

Please help me, I need him to be able to entertain himself atleast while I go to the bathroom.

I go through this with my daughter she was bad at about that age with separation anxiety if i walked away. now at 10 months she is a little better since she can crawl after me.
It wears you down. i used to put her saucer activity center in the kitchen with me so we can play and she can see me and i made coffee and breakfast and then traded her to her high chair to feed her while I had coffee.
Some mornings she hated it but some she was fine it all depended on her mood when she woke up (happy smiling or crying) it would set the day.
Since I am almost always in my kitchen that is where I set up her toys so she was near me.
Do you have a sling? That helps also because you have 2 free hands.
I have a very attached daughter and what is worse she is more so with daddy since he works home more so than the office so i have to try and entertain her so he can work but sometimes it is frustrating.
We go for walks and touch all the flowers and leaves by the time we get back she doesn't mind being put down for a few.
It is a hard time because teething also kicks in the clingy phase. Just try putting him down with you... oh I used to give my daughter what ever empty box I had just used and folded in the tops so she would play with it for about 10 minutes trying to chew on it
Good luck

Well he has 8 teeth so I'd hope hes done teething for now and with him being 27lbs(maybe more now) I can't hold him in a sling or any of those type of things(his thighs never fit in the others and it killed my back)...And really it is worse some days than others. I think that once he's able to come after me, either by crawling or walking(hes working hard on the walking), he'll be much better...Thanks
