Hellow,my name is Amber I am 28 years old and have a son Malik that is 18 months. We are expecting another little boy in early Aug this year and are naming him Zaid but pronounced Zade. I have in the past year or so joined two play groups, and have quit one while I am still in another and continue to be in it. How ever they both have not been quite what I thought they would be. After much thought on it I have decided to start my own group TOTS & MOMS here at RaisingThem. I am a STAY AT HOME mom & am looking forward to many get togethers  and meeting new people here in my home town or near by. I look forward to seeing my sons interacting with others as well as some adult conversations and on occasion a Moms night out. I can't wait to have my first get together at a local park for a picnic to get to know others a little better. I would like to go to the zoo a few times this summer and as the weather gets hotter go to the Library for storie time or have a few in home play dates. As far as Moms night out I figure a move, or bowling or eating some where and may be if all goes well a game night. I hope to get some response to this we'll see. This is a new thing for me, I am not usually a got get her type but I am trying to work on being a better me and fix a few flaws in my life, like getting more out there, speaking up and such. I figured this was a great way to get started by starting my own group.
