I miss friends

When I worked, I had friends that would call all the time that I could shoot the breeze with. Since I became a sahm, I don't have anything in common with my friends and therefore became disconnected with them. Since then, most of my good friends have moved away..I love my boys and wouldn't change anything with them..I love waking them up in the morning and eating breakfast with them,beng here when they get home..ect

I do miss the friendship..Rebee

Part of the reason that you may feel disconnected is that you need to establish "away from the kids" time and just hang out with your girlfriends. When I'm with my friends, I know that they don't mind hearing about my kids now and then, but women who don't have kids don't understand how they consume your life. If you can establish a rule that "this is time with kids, and this is time with girls", you may be able to find that if you're not talking about the little ones, you'll find things to talk about with your friends.
