what could this be????

i have a 7 month old little girl that will be 8 months on wed. well she was running a fever of 103.4 on friday and saturday...so saturday i took her to her doctors and he told me she had an ear infection...so he put her on amoxil and donnatusin...both meds that she has taken before...so now yesterday she wakes up about 3pm from her nap and has this bad rash under her arms, on her stomach, on her neck and behind her ears....do anyone know what this could be....it's weid cuz she's not had anything new to her system so i have no clue of what it could be....thanks for all the advice....

Hey Christina,

Sounds like she is having a reaction to the meds...sometimes they might do fine with meds at one point...but because of different "body burdens" she is being exposed to...plus the introduction of vaccines, etc...her little body doesn't know how to handle it...hence the rash...you might call the Dr. and just let them now...she is having a reaction...and share your concerns.

Keep us posted on her...you know you can use plain exra virgin olive oil to heal an ear infection...the ear drum has a wonderful way it can naturally heal itself. and olive oil helps....I have used it with a few drops of Oregonal P73 super strength...and my children haven't been to the doctor for an ear infection for over 3 years now. I warm it up to body temp...so it's not a shock of coldness hitting their ear...and mine love it when I put it in...hope this helps.

thanks so much...i might try that next time...i called the doc this afternoon and made an appt for her in the morning...just to make sure it's not rosiola or something else...thanks for the advice and i'll keep everyone posted on her...
