What to do about the 45 min napper!
My son is 15 months old and has never really been a great napper.  After his 1st birthday, he decided to go down to 1 nap.  This wouldn't be a problem if he napped for a couple of hours or so.  This is NOT the case however!  He will usually nap for about 45- 50 min, once a day and then wake up crying/grouchy/rubbing eyes, etc.  He sleeps in his own crib and will usually go down without a fuss.  He therefore goes to bed very early for the night (6pm) and will sleep until about 7am.  He's usually a great night time sleeper.    I wouldn't worry so much about his short nap if he woke up happy and was ready to go.  Anyway, any advice would be great!  Thanks

Try to keep him more active until nap time. Try to stimulate him as much as you can. If he gets up at 7 then make his nap time around 1 to 2 in th afternoon and maybe he will be tired and take a longer nap.
