Looking for older parents - View Question

Looking for older parents

My wife and I have a 2 year old son. My wife and I are older parents and would be interested in meeting other older parents. Does anyone have some suggestions on what groups are available in Omaha for older parents. I am 52 and my wife is 39 (Cole is our first child).

We are the other way around. I am 50 and mom to Tori age 5 and her dad is 38. I wish we had older parents groups around here.

hi there, i am brand new to this site and it being the first one of it's kind. i am 49 and raising my 11 year old whom i adopted at birth (and literally she was dropped from heaven and born right into my two hands) i love her with all of my being. my 5 older chidren are 32,30,27,24,22 are all grown and have their own lives in different states and with their own children..and not being the best of staying in contact to spite my efforts i feel as though my little on Maddi and i are our own family within ourselves...almost as if she is an only child..i forgot along the way to make sincere friends as i was always so busy in the fundamentals of raiding 5 stairsteps...now i want to find some true , honest to God friends that i can share this second life with ...i know most people are so far away but, i have to begin somewhere and i am a little lonely for adult imput...and she is so quiet and reserved ..someone enlighten me a little on this 3rd rainy day in a row... thanks a million and a half...bobbi in fredericksburg!

Hi there, I'm a 41 SAHM to my 14 mth son. I also have a 16 year old boy and 10 year old twin girls. I love being home but I am definately feeling the loneliness of no adult interaction. I to have had trouble keeping relationships between working and raising my other 3 children. As much as I don't miss work, I miss my collegeaus and status. I would love to have some moms around my age to converse with. Happy yet lonely in Cranston!
