Christmas came early for us here in Massachusetts. I was originally due to have our baby on January 20th, but our baby had other plans for us. He decided that getting Christmas presents was more important than staying in the warm comfy place in utero, haha. He was born one month early on Dec 20th and defied the doctors by being healthy and ready to come home with us just 48 hours later. He did not have to stay in the hospital any longer than we did, which made mommy and daddy so happy! He is such a precious gift to us. We've waited so long for his arrival (5 year's trying to naturally conceive him) that we feel so incredibly blessed to have him WITH us these last few weeks instead of waiting for his arrival. Hard to believe, as I type this, to think I would still be pregnant (38 1/2 weeks pregnant actually). Unbelievable. We are just truly thankful he is healthy and (seemingly) happy - and sure will do everything we can to keep both that way! I was just too excited not to share. Happy new year everyone!
