| Baby modeling |
 Yeah I have the cutest baby, (just like every other mommy out there!) I think shes so cute that she may be able to be a baby model. So I went on the computer to check out baby modeling and came across My Childs Modeling. I sent in for an assement and they said she was acepted and I should join but you have to buy into a package to get the talent agents info....I read somewhere that you shouldn't have to buy into anything but it seems all the info I can find you have to buy the info for the talent agencies..So I was wondering if anyone had any experense with this or suggestions or advice. I'm in VA and just wanted to try it out and see if my daughter would like it. I'm not going to make her do it if she doesn't like it....but shes just so darn cute! Any advice would be greatly apricated! |

My daughter started modeling at four months old and our biggest investment to get started was the cost of stamps and copies of photos that took with my digital camera. Elaine is right, you should never pay for any services to get your child into the business. When she's older - reading age, you may want to consider acting classes, etc. but as a baby, you don't need professional photos. Check out aftra.org and look for franchised agents in your state. Take some photos of your daughter, none with food and nothing that will obscure her face, include her name, date of birth, weight, height and contact info on the back with a note from you saying that you're seeking representation. Most of the agencies will tell you how they like to receive their submissions - check their websites if available. If you want to read about our experiences, check out my blogs
