I realize that the only reason by kids are into Christmas is because they know they will get presents. I try to introduce the idea that it is not only about receiving but also giving. It is about been generous and remember that thinking about other people make us better people.

I would make them choose some good toys and give them away, just so that they get in the spirit of it. Somehow all the consumerism at this time of the year is a little overwhelming!
