HELP!!!!
My three year old has been sleeping in her room since she was six months old.  As of a few days ago she is absolutely refusing to sleep unless myself or my husband is with her.  Or of course she is in our bed.  We had a baby a few months ago and he is in our room.  I don't know if this is an attention thing, jelousy of baby thing, or I don't know.  Between midnight feedings with the baby and now this little girl screeming and coming in my room all night long....... I am at my wits end!  HELP!!!  Any advice would be greatly appreciated because as I send out this desperate message I am listening to her cry right now.  Cry

Hi Tracey,
My sister went through this with her son. He slept in their room again too when his brother was born. Is there any way you can put a toddler bed in your room for a while? She might get tired of the baby waking her and want to go back in her own room. My sister let her son sleep in her bed until the baby went into his own room. Other then that it may just take some time for your daughter to adjust to having a new baby in the house, it is not uncommon for older siblings to get jealous.

my cousin put the baby in her 3 year old daughters room. once they were old enough to of course. that made her feel like hse was taking care of her brother and involved. my mother in law said htats what she did with my fiancee and his little sister. eventually they slept through them waking up at night and adjusted well.
