Help with birthday party!

My children 6th birthaday party is coming up...I do not want to organize too much but I think it is safe to get them involve in one or two games.

I was thinking the classical musical chair, pinata?? Any other idea....

Hi Vero,
My sister just had her sons 5th b-day. He really likes spiderman so she got a pinata of him and the kids loved it. They hired an actor that dressed up as spiderman who played music games between lunch and cake. I dont know the cost in that but all the kids had a great time and were excited about having spiderman at the party.

You can do FREEZE Dance.
All kids love it. Like musical chairs kids are dancing and you stop the music. Whomever is still moving is out. Until you have a winner. At that age it is safer and no messing with chairs.

A fun idea for the cake is to make "ice cream" cupcakes. instead of using paper wrappers, fill an ice cream cone 1/2 - 2/3 full with the cake batter and bake just like cupcakes. Place them in the cupcake pan just a cupcake. They round nicely at the top and after the frosting is on the top, it does look like an ice cream cone. You could incorporate the frosting into your party too. make the cakes ahead of time, and let the guests frost and decorate their own cupcake.
