I would start off by following a downsizing food volume and incorporate 1 1/2 hours of weight and cardio exercises at minimum of 4 times a week. Losing about 1-2 pounds a week is a healthy way to keep it off.

Everyone is different at finding the right solution on weight loss. I find this method helped me from a size 10 to size 2 before I had my son. I'm planning to go back and exercise very soon to lose the weight I gained from my pregnancy.

Congratulations on your upcoming wedding.

I have been always been trying to stay fit and live a healthy lifestyle for the past 20 years. Although, I'm not a professional, I've done a lot of research and worked with personal trainers to stay fit.

I can make recommendations, but I find some plans may work for one but may not be the best match for others. You can try this but feel free to modify (not cheat though).

For daily food intake try 1200 calories a day. This is very hard and I'll be honest, you WILL be hungry. There are websites out there that will tell you number of calories in different type of food and you can also check the label on the food product. For example, one of the soup like Progresso or Healthy Choice is two serving, so you'll only have 1/2 for lunch.

Breakfast: 1 fried egg (fried w/no butter)
coffee/tea: watch the sugar and milk intake
snack: a fruit

Lunch: 1/2 container of soup like Progresso or Healthy Choice
snack: a fruit or low calorie snack

Dinner: 1/2 chicken or meat w/1/2 baked potato (no butter), and favorite veggies (no butter)

I recommend eliminating any kind of soda and juice (even the diet kind) Water is the best when it comes to diet.

I'll be more than happy to walk you through it, if you like. I personally have to get back in shape. I gained 20 lbs and is starting to have problem with back and pelvic pain.

I would recommend Slimfast morning and lunch, low carb/low fat diet(watch because most low carb are high fat and vice verse). Lots of water!!! Cardio start 30 minutes to work up to 1 hour per day. Nintendo Wii Boxing, great cardio work out and it is fun. Also, depending on health conditions you may have, I was put on Phentramine, 30mg per day. In 10.5 months I have lost 63 pounds. Also doing some of the above, as much as I can at least.

I am using the "Alli" plan and it has realy worked for me.I started it 1 month and 3 weeks ago starting weight 198 and as of today I am at 177.It really does wrk. There are some wicked side effects though. You can get "Alli" at target,,Walmart,a lot of different stores have it.Of course you have to exercise too.I am a member at our local YMCA.I normally do 35 min on tredmill,20 min on bike,and10 min on an eliptical machine.I do this 3 times a week.Oh yeah and drink tons of water
If your juststarting out dieting try and drink 2 full glasses of water befor every meal and it will give you a sense of fullness therefore you wont be able to eat as much.Goodluck!!

Keep your head up and stay focused on your goal. When I get serious about dieting I put a note or picture on the frig. to remind myself of what I am trying to achieve. One thing that helped me was eating servings that were 26 carbs or less in processed foods. I would eat all of the fresh fruits and veg. that I wanted and excerice as much as possible. I am from Texas so I understand the hot weather and rain and being a stay at home mommy of twins, I understand being on a tight budget. Get some dumb bells and an elastic band and this could help with muscle tone and it is cheap. Good Luck.....I am cheering for you!

I would like to loose weight as well, but I breastfeed. Going on a diet during this time is bad right? I keep telling myself that so all I am doing is drinking lots of water and excercising for 30 minutes every morning. I bought online at Wal-mart, Tony littles Gazelle the edge. It was only 84 dollars, its really a great way to fool yourself thinking you are running, but there is zero impact...I hope it works I need to loose about 40 pounds

I am working on loosing 20 lbs. Like you I am not always able to get outside to walk where I live either. So what I have been doing for walking exersice is to go to the mall here in town where I live. Me and a few other moms I know go 3 time a week and we walk the hallways, just like you would outside. That way you don't have to worry about the weather. We go early in the morning before some of the stores even open.....around 9:00am. Our mall is all inside, so we walk around the whole thing 3 times and it is a mile and a half total. When we started out we only walked around 2 times, but then we started walking a little faster and then we added the 3rd time as well. Good luck!

Are you taking a good vitamin/mineral supplement? I have NEVER been able to lose weight while nursing, without it affecting my milk supply. You will not believe this, but I am losing weight and it isn't affecting my milk supply. :D I have lost 15.5 lbs since starting the Vitality Prenatal (six weeks ago). Also, I have lost my monthly cravings.

A good friend of mine, who is a nutritionalist, said that the reason I have lost my cravings is because my body is getting the nutrition it needs, therefore it is not tricking me into thinking it needs something else...like all that sweet stuff. :D My energy level is amazing, I cannot remember the last time I have felt this good! I am getting things done around the house again...and my dear husband isn't having to work as hard as he was around here. He is so wonderful! :D

If you want to know what I've been taking, just ask. or go to my blog.
