Day six did not go off without a hitch. I was challenged in getting my exercise in. I did though, not as intensely as I would have liked. I had to break it up into two short sessions. Long story, visited some ruins, no stroller so it is what it is. Then as my dh comes home I'm making breakfast for dinner for everyone. He asks me, "What did you eat?". I told him I haven't eaten yet, I'm making everyone else's. He then informs me it's AFTER 7:30!! I thought well, if I stay up a little later it won't be a big deal. Just as I plate my dinner, yummy egg white steak omelette with turkey bacon and cinnamon toast my last guests arrives. The one I invited and FORGOT was coming!! I handed her my plate and she loved it. Everything was already in the sink and being cleaned up. I didn't get any. :( I ate a South Beach bar at quarter to eleven. So I guess I am really sucking at this whole boot camp thing. I'm still going foreward though, because I know over all I'm making progress. The scale is telling me so. I have to look at my calendar to see if I can extend it one more week. I'd like to but I think we are going camping during that week and that would just be too difficult. I can be good but not in bootcamp while camping. Tomorrow is weigh in day and I really hope it's going to be as good as it looks. Today I'm going swimming and I plan on doing a lot of exercise in the pool. Then tomorrow I'm supposed to go swimming also that is if DS is doing better, he has a cold right now. I have a hike planned for Sunday morning, hopefully my friend won't back out on me. Seems like that's happening a lot lately. I definitely won't go on my first hike alone. It's 3-4 miles depending on which way we go and that will depend on how we feel at that point. LOL I'm really looking forward to it though. I've never been on a hike before. Tonight the family is going out to dinner. DSS will be going home to his Mom's soon so we wanted to do some stuff with him while he's here. DH is talking about a place where you eat in a tree house... wonder what they serve?? Acorns? LOL Sounds interesting I think.. I have to wonder how you get up to the tree house.. not a ladder I hope... I just don't see me doing any ladders anytime soon. DH goes on vacation soon and he plans on taking him go carting too. I think he's had a pretty nice summer, he's gone to a waterpark, Daytona USA, swimming plenty of times, and then he has the next few things coming up. Not too grand but not too shabby either. We've also had a few cookouts/parties that he's had a blast at. He's a good kid and we are going to miss him a lot. They grow up so fast. Weebles wobble but they don't fall down. I wobbled but I didn't fall down. |
