| I am a stay at home mom of two boys and it would be nice to meet/talk to other real moms who have a lot to complain about like those moms who get up at the crack of dawn to work out, shower, put their makeup on before the kids are up, or husbands who procrastinate, or annoying monster-in-laws. I am a non-spanking mom (who's kids will probably walk all over someday). I'd have to say that the healthiest thing I do is breastfeed.... yeah thats about the only healthy thing I do. I love to scrapbook and watch cheesy reality shows like America's Next Top Model. I think its time I get over my fear of moms who annoy me because my 2 year old really needs friends. Its been over a year since enrolling him in any structured play groups. For those of you who understand, there seems to be too much competition among the moms for me to say "Oh yeah, I'm in the mood for all that crap again." Who really cares about the 3 year old who can tie his shoes and recite the declaration of independence, I'm just happy my kids socks match. I just want to meet some other moms addicted to coffee, who want to get their kids together with my sweet, sensitive, 2 year old boy, because he really needs it (his baby brother has colic), and I guess it would be good for me too. |

I am with you. I need relaxed moms around, there is enough stress to deal with raising kids, so who needs the additional aggravation!
There are cool moms around, they are the ones that just expect their child to be happy growing up, not necessarily becoming a doctor or a lawyer...
