How to potty training a boy? |
He is almost 21 months and I got him a potty chair. The 1 time he did pee in it I clapped for him and got excited for him but he hasn't done it since. He wants nothing to do with the potty chair. Now I put him on it when he brushes his teeth in the morning and he will sit still for a few minutes but won't pee. Do you have any advise for me? I'm not pushy with it, I don't want him to hate it. lol. |

do not push, what you are doing is ok, try your husband take your son when he go to pee, sometimes they will try to imitate dady, for my child, my husband tooked whit him when he went to the bathroom, and they shared time in the bathroom alone, then my boy started to telling me when he wanted to go and wanted to do like dady in the potty chair.
hope this help, let me know

I plan on using underwear under the diaper and taking my son every 30-45 minutes to the potty and give him an m&m or something as a reward if he goes. If he loses interest, give him a break, and then try again. My cousin said she did this and used a timer so she wouldn't lose track of time and it only took about 6 weeks to train her son.
Good luck! |

My son is 22 months, i put him on the potty before his diaper needs to be changed and he gos every time now. I think his body has to get used to it. He hasn't did # 2 yet though, and he doesn't tell me he needs to go. |
