Is the lack of adult interaction what new parents miss the most?

Once the honeymoon baby phase is a bit over, stay-at-home parents start feeling isolated and caught up in the baby needs. The lack of sleep and the stress of making sure we do the right thing, contribute to the general lack of energy for seeking adult companionship.

Very often, the arrival of a baby coincide with a move to a bigger house or different neighbourhood or city. All of a sudden not only you are a parents but your social surrounding changes.

I would say that it is essential for any stay-at-home parents or nanny to be out there and make it a priority to seek adult time.

You don't have to necessarily talk about kids, actually it might be healthy to remember for a moment what you use to talk about before being a parent!
