Temper tantrums??

Ok recently my daughter has started to scream for no reason, like i will try giving her a bottle changing her diaper and everything and she doesnt calm down. Part of me feels like its because she is frusterated because she cant tell me what she wants (she is 13 months) But i am not sure. I am at my witts end she does it constantly and i am alone right now (my husband is deployed) Any advice to get her to stop? Doing this and help find another way she can get her point across.. I have tried to teach her some sign languge and she isnt seeming to use it!

If she is doing it for no reason and if nothing works, just ignore her, she can't flip out all day!

Tell her in a stern calm voice that this behavior is not ok. Then give her an option to stop or to be removed to a time out wear she will stay to calm down. When she calms down come back to remind her of what she did that was wrong. ask for an apology. If she doesn't give one or calm down simply leaver there until she does. Repetition and calmness and strength on your part. And a reward chart for her will do wonders. Remember not to speak to her in time out or she wins. If she comes out of the time out are ask her to go back or you will put her back your self. count to three. It works. Good luck!
