I have a 6 year old step-son that has been diagnosed with ADHD.  He is on medication for it and has been since he was 4 years old.  We recently had to have his medication changed because the old one was no longer working for him.  He is doing well on this new medication but still seems to have outbursts.  Bipolar runs in his family on both maternal and paternal sides...do you think he could be bipolar? How would you deal with his outbursts?  I'm only the step-mom so I feel so limited as to what I can do. Advice greatly appreciated.
