Cutting Teeth

Good Morning mothers and fathers,

My son is 8 months and 9 days. He has yet to get one toothe?  Well, he is drooling an awful lot. Is that a sign? By the way, became much heavier around 6mos and has increased over the course of time.

Question: Is it true breastfed babies get their teeth late?

My son is 11 1/2 months and no teeth! He has been teething forever. Cranky too, so i know they are coming soon!

I laughed when I read this.. I thought the same thing when my son was that age. He cut his first teeth the same day and he was 9 months old and 2 days. He has always been a drooler and it seems like the faucet never stops. Good luck with the teeth! :)

I had the same experience...My daughter is now 2. I breastfeed her until 10 months. I swear she was teething since 4 months. She finally got her first tooth at 11 months. I dont know if breastfeeding has something to do with it, but each child is different and the teeth do come eventually. Some very early and some late. My son is now 6 months and I feel he is teething.
