Depressed during pregnancy?

Pregnant women go through a lot of mental and physical stress. Some women just think they look ugly as they become mothers & their belly starts growing. I’m a firm believer that life starts at the moment of conception. I believe that as soon as you find out you are pregnant you become a mother & should help your baby embark in a troublesome but beautiful & rewarding journey. I know pregnant mothers that talk to their babies & play music close to their bellies. Somehow they think their babies will hear it. Some studies show that babies can recognize in some level music that was played while they were in the womb. Babies inside the womb have short-term & some long-term memory. Going back to getting depressed while pregnant… It’s easy to focus on our physical appearance & forget the joys of motherhood. Most pregnant women don’t feel attractive. Of course who will feel attractive when none of your clothes fit? There are always creative ways to feel better about yourself. You can go to the beauty salon & do your hair or nails. Safe money & treat yourself with one of those beautiful outfits for pregnant woman that make any mom look great. Accessories are inexpensive and will make you look great even when you can’t afford a costly outfit. Do things that you enjoy besides preparing for the baby’s arrival & reading 101 ways to becoming a better mom. Maybe you like walking in the beach, or listening to classical music, watching a baseball game or a comedy, taking your dog for a walk, etc. Do those things you used to enjoy & perhaps can’t enjoy any longer because you are just too stressed out. Eat healthy; get plenty of rest, & exercise. Try keeping yourself busy & when boredom nocks at your door unwelcome his visit.
