16 month old and using potty.

My son James is onl 16 months old and he uses his potty. But not all the time. He tells me when he needs t teetee but only some times. He follows me to he bathroom and wants to go teetee wen I do. He is too little for the pull ups so I have to take off his diaper. Every ne thinks it is so amaizing for a baby his age. But I have ready studies that show toddlers who start potty training too eary take longer to fully potty train. I am hoping some one can lend me some wize words.

I wrote a pretty good article on Ehow about potty training. I have two boys and went through the same thing with my second who was potty trained in three weeks because he wanted to play soccer like his brother. Have a look and let me know what you think! my son does the same thing. he started at about 14 months and he is 22 months now. he knows what the potty is and how to go potty but still likes to peepee on the floor. i say just let him do it. he will let you know when he is fully ready to potty train. it will most likely happen really soon. unless your son is stubborn like mine
