This is just a blog asking for reasons why others baptised their children (if you did)... My fiancee and I are thinking about it for our almost 2 year old son. I just wanted to know, to see if our reasons were the same... or if we are way off...

My fiancee and I attend church regularly but have so many different views on religion and beliefs.

I think of baptism as a new journey in your life and the washing away of our sins and the pouring of Gods Spirit into our our hearts. Our son will be initiated into the community of Faith....

But yet, as his parents, we arent filled with all the knowledge of God and the Bible and everything..

But does my son have sins to be washed away and should I wait to let him decide to be baptised when he thinks its the right time? Or am I overthinking this.. Honestly....
