When I changed my first diaper, I was a little nervous. She was so small, even for 9.9 lbs. The nurses had to make me do it because I was just so scared I would break her. I eventually got the hang of it, of course. Almost all moms do. And I've changed almost all of her diapers. My hubby has only changed like 30 tops. But him being gone most of the time doesnt help. Once she went for like a week and a half without a bowel movement and we had been giving her all the natural laxatives and after checking with the pedi, i decided to try infant colace suppositories. i was seriously grossed out and bailed when it wouldnt easily go in. i re diapered her and told her if she poopied for me i would never do it again. sure enough, 2 hours she did! i was so relieved. and last night my husband thought it would be a good idea to feed her a chicken nugget from jack in the box where we ate. bad idea. not only did she wake up early and fill a diaper immediately, but so did i. except replace it with... well you know. anyways. i cant wait till she is potty trained. im afraid its going to be harder than i think... we'll see. :)
